Emmanuel (Manu) Cauchi

 

Manu Cauchi is an experienced pilot on both gravel and tarmac.

He builds up, readies and services rally cars since 1998, within his company, Cauchi Sport Auto. His vast experience mainly covers Citroën, Peugeot and Renault cars, as well as BMW, Mitsubishi and Suzuki.

 

1992 Junior co-pilot at the age of 16 (first junior licence ever granted by the French Federation) on Peugeot 205.
1995 Class winner on 205 Group N at the Haut Pays Niçois rally.
1996 Winner of the regional selection of « Rallye Jeunes » organised by Peugeot and the French Auto Federation.
10th overall national ranking, over 14 000 participants in France.
1997

Winner of the regional selection and 3rd national for the « Rallye Jeunes ».

First participation (without assistance) to the Saxo Challenge: 7th overall ranking, 2nd junior (6 races participations out of 8).

1998 6th general ranking of the Saxo Challenge and 2nd junior (6 races participations out of 7).
1999 3rd general ranking of the Saxo Challenge and 1st junior.
2000 Winner of Saxo Challenge.
(1st Limousin, 1st Rouergue, 2nd Touquet, 2nd Pays de Gier, 3rd Cœur de France).
2001 4th general ranking of Saxo T4Trophy.
2002 2nd general ranking of Saxo T4Trophy (1st Diois, 1st Cardabelles, 2nd Provence,
2nd Langres, 2nd Vaucluse, 4th Auvergne).
